Tips for painting and embroidery
Slip a piece of cardboard inside before painting so colour does not bleed through. Use fabric paint, or acrylic mixed with fabric medium, and let it dry for 24 hours. Iron on the reverse for 3–5 minutes to fix the colour, then hand wash cold. For embroidery, the thicker fabric holds a hoop well.

Frequently asked questions
What size is it?
These covers are 16 x 16 inch and fit standard 16 x 16 inch cushion inserts.
Can I paint on it?
Yes. The cotton canvas takes fabric paint and acrylic paint mixed with fabric medium. Let it dry fully, then heat-set by ironing on the reverse side so the design lasts through washes.
Is it good for embroidery?
Yes. The tight cotton weave holds stitches well for hand embroidery, machine embroidery, mirror work and patchwork. Use a hoop for an even finish.
Can I customise these and resell them?
Yes. Many artists and small businesses buy our blank pieces, add painting, embroidery or prints, and sell them under their own brand. Ask us on WhatsApp about bulk pricing for resellers.
How do I wash it?
We recommend a gentle hand wash in cold water and drying in shade. Avoid bleach, especially on painted or embroidered designs.
Do you take bulk orders?
Yes. We supply schools, workshop hosts, resellers and companies in bulk. All our products are plain, without any printing. WhatsApp us on +91 90999 99066 for a bulk quote.
Is shipping free?
Yes, shipping is free on all orders across India. New buyers get 10% off with code VKART10, carts with 4 or more products get an automatic 10% bulk discount, and every order earns 5% cashback in your VantageKart Wallet. Damaged, incorrect or missing items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with a continuous unboxing video for a replacement or refund.
